Profile: Robi Rusdiana.
This guy is amazing. He’s trained in western and Sundanese classical music, to supplement his original skill as bass player in metal outfit Impish. He also lectures in sound design for animation and video games at two different universities, and is the conductor and boss guy of the metal/guttural choir Ensemble Tikoro.
Robi is my official liaison for the Hitek/Lotek project and answers all my questions about Sundanese music, and has generally interesting opinions about the nexus of atonal contemporary classical and industrial music.
He talks good english as well as Indonesian and Sundanese; you should contact him for more projects.
